Brian J. Hughes owns and operates Vantage Multimedia based in Cardinia, South East of Melbourne, Australia.
Known for his vibrant, hyper-real imagery and exacting attention to detail, Brian is a passionate filmmaker, photographer and dedicated, full-time multimedia professional specialising in producing documentary and promotional content for over 10 years.
During this time he has been commissioned by a wide array of high profile clients, VIPs, businesses and organisations, to produce a range of quality film, television, theatre, video and online productions of all sizes.
Starting with his very first freelance job producing onstage video sequences for Melbourne Theatre Company, through to his current work creating promotional photographs and films for the ecotourism and entertainment industry at venues like Gumbuya World, Brian has built up an extensive body of work, a proven track record and reputation for quality and reliability.
Brian’s work is featured on Free-to-Air and Pay TV, at the Cinema, in public exhibitions, on the front page of newspapers, on billboards, in professional theatre productions, and online world wide. All of his imagery is genuine and represents the real world as he sees it, he doesn't rely on photographic gimmicks or fake his images in any way.
Brian is highly qualified having earned a Degree in Multimedia (with Distinction) and several qualifications in Business and IT, a unique combination ideally suited to understanding and producing effective commercial multimedia content. He has spent years honing his craft as a professional image maker and storyteller, producing short films and photographs with skill and care.
Brian is also an accomplished creative photographer whose work has exhibited on tour and is a Cardinia Business Awards Finalist (Professional Services Category). He volunteers his time and skills with the HPNL (Healesville to Phillip Island Nature Link) conservation/citizen science organisation, and loves: art, cinema, heavy metal music, animals, nature, cooking and exploring the great outdoors.
